HarCo Hockey fields both Varsity and Junior Varsity (JV) teams, providing opportunities for student-athletes of all skill levels and experience. Competing in the Eastern Conference of the Maryland Student Hockey League (MSHL), HarCo offers a structured program that supports both competitive and developmental growth.
 

The Varsity team adopts a traditional high school sports model, emphasizing competition and a focus on winning. In contrast, the JV team functions as a developmental platform designed to cultivate fundamental hockey skills, game awareness, and teamwork within a supportive and instructional environment—making it an ideal entry point for newer players or those continuing to develop in the sport.

There are no tryouts or player cuts. Team placement (Varsity or JV) is determined by the coaching staff following the initial on-ice sessions.
